Because Who Wouldn’t Want to Buy Their Own Island?

So I’m spending my typical Saturday watching House Hunters Caribbean (because it reminds me of warmer days and sunshine, oh and perfect houses) and they are selling islands here. Like legitimate islands. Whoa. I want one, sign me up. So I’m thinking wait, is there really a market for buying islands. Turns out there is… I found whole websites on Island Buying and some are priced around the rate of homes. I guess I could buy an island instead of a house and live in a tent? Yeah. We could make that work, right Andrew? So without further ado here are my top 5 islands… if anyone wants to get me a graduation present 🙂

  1. Belize

It’s only $99,000, which is like totally reasonable. In the gorgeous waters off the coast of Belize, I could just picture myself soaking up the sun here.

  1. Ireland

Intriguing, I’ve never been to Ireland but I could deal with this one, it’s right off the coast of a little village and only $371,443. It’s like an open, empty slate. Oh, side note, a former owner of this was John Lennon so that makes it extra awesome!

  1. Florida Keys

The Keys were one of our favorite travel spots!!! I could wake up to this view everyday. Though it’s a little pricey, at $2,000,000 it is 15 acres of pure perfection.

  1. Australia

Anything named Kangaroo Island I could definitely make a home out of. Asking 1.2 million for this island, but my tent could go anywhere because it is 410 acres!!!! Imagine all the exploration! My mind is boggled.

  1. Philippines

Woah! Best for last. I want it. I must have it. I love it. That private beach is breath taking. Price is available upon request, therefore probably right in my price range! A girl can dream right?
