Like I said above, social media is great and all, but if it were to disappear tomorrow, so would all of your raving fans. You need a backup. You own your email list, all of the contacts you collect are yours.
Emails are also a great way to gain trust with your audience, you’re in a more intimate place than social media. It gives you more opportunity to offer loads of value, since you can use longer form or deliver content direct to someone.

The entire Google Suite
The Google Suite: Docs, Drive, Sheets, and more have saved my computer so much storage. This is a tool that every business can use.
I use the entire Google Suite not just to save storage but also to share documents with my team (or Andrew) while avoiding the massive thread of emails. Plus I use Google Sheets to track Affiliate links and some of my accounting work! Honestly if you’re not in the Google Suite, what are you even doing working from your laptop?!

Schedulers Galore!
Schedule your content, save time. It’s that simple.
I’m all about writing content that comes straight from inspiration but that is not a sustainable strategy. There will be days you’re less than inspired. You can save loads of time by using those times of high inspiration to batch out content and schedule it. You’ll always have space to write in inspiration as you go.
Schedulers also can save you a to-do, instead of having to remember to post every single day at 9am… because trust me, you won’t remember every day, and then a week will go by that you forgot to post… you can have peace of mind knowing your posts are ready to go.
On Facebook, we just use the Facebook scheduler.
